Mouressi

Mouresi is one of the oldest villages of Pelion. It is located 55 km from Volos and is built on a hillside at an altitude of 370 m. Originally, it was built at the site of today¢s Damouchari, near its beach, where the ruins of an old settlement and a Byzantine castle can still be seen.
The village square of Mouresi is particularly picturesque, with its huge linden trees. There, you will also find the Church of the Holy Trinity with its magnificent “pierced iconostasis.”
If you are a nature lover, it is worth taking a walk through the dense forest. Follow the path for an exceptional route that will lead you south to Tsagarada and north to Damouchari.
If you want to swim, visit Damouchari Beach with its pebbles or Papa Nero Beach with its sandy shore.
