Amaliapoli is a seaside village that serves as an ideal place for those seeking a peaceful vacation. It is located 54 km from Volos. The village is built in a sheltered bay, opposite the islet of Kikinthos, with the chapel of the Holy Trinity at the entrance of the bay.
On the hill to the west of the village lies the ancient city of Pteleos.
