The mountainous village of Lavkos is located 45 km from Volos and is built at an altitude of 330 m. It stands atop a hill and offers stunning views of Milina, the island of Alatas, and the Pagasetic Gulf.
It is a beautiful village with a strong traditional character. The well-preserved stone houses, old mansions, and the village¢s characteristic cobbled streets invite you to explore them and transport you back to bygone times.
Among the village¢s attractions, it is worth visiting the Monastery of Agios Athanasios, which dates back to 1795. It is located in a lush green ravine just a few kilometers from Lavkos.
