Kalentzi

The mountainous village of Kalentzi stretches across the slopes of Mount Erymanthos at an altitude of 920 meters.
A distinctive feature of the village is its location in a lush area filled with fir trees and numerous springs. It is situated 49 km from Patras.
Kalentzi is the birthplace of three Greek prime ministers: Georgios Papandreou, Andreas Papandreou, and the current prime minister, George Papandreou.
This charming and picturesque village preserves its traditional character. As you wander through its streets, you can visit the birthplace of Georgios Papandreou, known as the “Elder of Democracy,” as well as the Folklore Museum, which houses an impressive collection of handmade textiles, old icons, household utensils, and more.
