Selianitika is a beautiful village in Achaia, located 35 km from Patras and 7 km from Aigio.
This coastal village is closely linked with the mountainous village of Eastern Aigialeia, Seliana, as according to tradition, during the Ottoman period, most residents of mountain Seliana settled in the coastal village of Selianitika.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Selianitika was the commercial center of the wider region. Its residents developed trade connections, even by sea, with settlements as far as Roumeli.
Today, Selianitika is the most touristic area of the Municipality of Sympoliteia and is renowned for its thermal baths.
It stands out for its beautiful beach with clear waters, the shops operating in the area, the restaurants and traditional taverns serving local recipes, the cafés and bars, as well as the guesthouses and hotels.
Selianitika is the ideal destination for those captivated by natural beauty and seeking the magic of the mountains combined with the charm of the sea.
