Valtesiniko is a beautiful, picturesque village in mountainous Arcadia, built amphitheatrically on the slope of a hill in Mainalo at an altitude of 1,150 meters. It is a unique retreat for short getaways and a close connection with nature. The village offers a stunning view, nestled among apple, walnut, poplar, and fir trees. Its traditional architecture, with stone-built houses and breathtaking vistas, combined with the warm hospitality of its residents, creates a perfect setting for both short and extended stays.
Valtesiniko has a long-standing tradition in woodcarving, especially in the creation of ecclesiastical iconostases. Examples of this craft can be admired in the village¢s two churches: Saint George and Saints Theodoroi.
