The village of Pramanta is the main settlement of Tzoumerka, known for its natural beauty and traditional atmosphere. It is located 65 km southeast of Ioannina and is built at an altitude of 840 m amphitheatrically at the foot of Strongoula.
The village was established in its current location in the 15th century. Its inhabitants took part in the Revolution of 1821.
In Pramanta there are several hotels that offer all the comforts to travelers who prefer the beautiful village for their stay.
The natural beauty of the area impresses every visitor. In the central square of the village stands the ancient plane tree and the historic fountain "Arapis".
The Church of Saint Paraskevi is an architectural jewel for the village.
It is also worth visiting the Monastery of Saint Paraskevi and the Church of Asproklissia, located near the Markopoulo forest.
