At the northern tip of Lemnos lies the traditional village of Plaka. It is 45 km from Myrina. The village boasts natural beauty and is renowned for its picturesque charm. The area is famous for its exquisite honey and dairy products.
The nearest beaches are Agios Stefanos and Mandri. This coastal area is one of the island¢s most important fishing grounds.
Near Agios Charalambos Beach, there are therapeutic baths ideal for treating rheumatic conditions. You can also enjoy mud therapy using the so-called “Lemnian earth,” a type of clay said to have been used by Hippocrates, the father of medicine.
