Village of the south Corfu, 33km from the city. It is on the road to Lefkimmi and it’s a traditional Mediterranean village with evident the tradition in its architecture and in everyday life.
A stroll around the settlement will fill you with unique pictures. Walking in the narrow streets and under their volta(arches)you feel like travelling in the past and meeting with Venetian soldiers. Admire the well-saved houses and listen to housewives talking with that characteristic singing accent.
If you feel like swimming visit the coastal settlements of Boukari and Petriti. The last one is ideal for fishing.
