The Pyrgos Kpetanakos is placed at Areopoli, capital of Mani, 330klm far from Athens and 80 klm far from Sparti, the capital of Lakonia. A typical sample of the arcitecture of Mani, building of the year 1865 with a big rectangular sectional plan of 10x10 m dimension. Consists of groundfloor, 2 floors, sun porch, garden and cistern. Is formated to a hostel of 6 rooms with 18 beds. At the groundfloor there is the entrance, the living room, the kitchen with a warehouse and a room at the yard. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with hteir own bathroom, refrigerator, air-conditioning, TV and on the second floor there are two bedrooms with an inner wooden loft, its own bathroom, refrigerator , TV, air-conditioning. The whole arcitecture is targeting to make the guest feel the local hospitality of a maniatic house. For instance breakfast is offered at the dining room at a big table where everybody is sitted, while at the yard there is an amphitheatrical area with benches for reading and conversation.
