 Athani

Athani is a beautiful village located in the southwestern part of the island, 35 km from Lefkada Town. It is a semi-mountainous village, built at an altitude of 382 meters and surrounded by lush olive groves.
In recent years, the area has developed touristically and attracts an increasing number of visitors, mainly due to its proximity to Lefkada¢s most famous beach, Porto Katsiki. This world-renowned beach lies at the foot of a white, steep rocky cliff and is of exceptional beauty, with crystal-clear waters that every visitor to the island is eager to experience.
Athani is the last village on the way to Cape Lefkatas. From here, apart from Porto Katsiki, visitors can also reach the unique beaches of Gialos and Egremni.
