 Falatados

The village of Falatados is 10km from Chora (town). It's a hilly village with long history. It was established in 1400 and is inhabited since then. With its traditional architecture and the old well-saved buildings impresses all visitors.
There are lots of old churches in the village. Among them distinguish the church of Saint Nikolaos made of marble. Characteristic if this church is the pebblestone yard built in 1902. In its entrance you can see the monument in honor of the builders that found the icon of Panagia in 1823.
Highly impressive is the church of Trinity in the center of the village. Its cupola is of 18m height.
