Every July is held the summer festival in the island. The paths of the castle, the port of Karavostatis and of Ano Mera liven through shows and concerts of classic and traditional music. The neoclassic building of elementary school in Chora hosts exhibitions all summer around.
The culture’s club room “Folegandros”hosts pictorial exhibitions with the island as theme during summer period.
In the Laographic Museum in Ano Meria, are organized musical and literature evenings.
Local feasts and extemporary hijinks with the local musicians are often and unpredictable. Every visitor of the island with a little luck can see them in different parts of Folegandros.
