Vrahos is the Greek word for rock and because the hotel is built on a rocky slope at Karavostassi bay in Folegandros, that is how it got its name. The Vrahos Folegandros Hotel is carefully designed by a famous architect who has used simple geometric forms on different levels. It consists of five separate buildings all of them facing the sea.
In front of the hotel you can swim at the crystal waters of Karavostassi bay or walk for about 200 metres to Vardia beach. You can also take the local boat from here to a tour around the island and the beaches of Angali, Agios Nikolaos, Katergo, Ambeli etc.
