    The last major stop of the tour to visit beautiful Nafplion. This is the first capital of the new independent state of Greece (1824). It is a place than looks like time stopped in 1850 and a fascinating weekend destination for Athenians. You’ll be free to explore the old walkways worry free as cars are not allowed inside, check traditional shops, have lunch or hop on a small boat that will take you to the little castle (Bourtzi) in the middle of the sea and around seaside Nafplion.

    Last Major stop of the tour to visit one of the oldest theaters of the world which is still used by the best theatrical tragedies.
