  With a unique taste and texture, this type of bread used to be prepared in outdoor wood fired ovens.

• Greek Zucchini Fritters or Spring Rollsstarter

  Alternatively called Kolokithokeftedes this traditional delicacy is made with grated zucchini, feta cheese, eggs, and a variety of local herbs.

• Grilled Florina Peppersstarter

  A sweet variety of peppers cultivated in the northern Greek region of Western Macedonia.

• Greek Salad with Zakynthos Ladotiristarter

  Zakynthos is proud of its ladotiri, a goat cheese with characteristic spicy flavor, that matures for months in olive oil.

• Rabbit Stew with Potato Puréemain

  Rabbit recipes which play a crucial role in Zakynthos’ gastronomy, have survived for decades through oral tradition.

• Kaimaki Ice Cream with Sour Cherry Syrup or Seasonal Fruitsdessert

  With a typical elastic texture and a mastic aroma kaimaki was the only ice cream available in Greece until the late 60’s.
