Keri is the southest village of Zakynthos. It is 20km from the town. The traditional architecture and the marvelous natural landscapes characterize this region. From the Lighthouse of Keri, in the Cape of Marathia, you will enjoy one of the best sunsets in Ionian sea.
While staying at Keri it is worth visiting the church of Panagia Keriotissa, dated from the 18th century. Really impressive is the wooden chancel screen and the bell tower. In the village’s entrance you will see the “source of Irodotos”, known from ancient times for its therapeutic waters.
Best spot in the region is Keriou Lake with coastal taverns and natural landscapes of unique beauty.
