Agia Marina, also recently called Paradise Beach, is perhaps the most popular and one of the most beautiful beaches on Spetses.
It is located in the southeastern part of Spetses, approximately 2.5 kilometers from Dapia. Its close proximity to the town often causes crowding, especially in August. The name comes from the small chapel of the same name at one end of the beach, surrounded by pine and cypress trees, a site where traces and artifacts (utensils, figurines, etc.) of an ancient settlement have also been found.
It is one of the island¢s tourist-developed beaches, along with the Agioi Anargyroi Beach, offering many facilities for visitors. It is primarily a sandy beach, mixing with pebbles near the shore, and the sea is crystal clear and usually calm. The beach is organized, providing umbrellas and sunbeds, a beach bar for refreshing cocktails, and restaurants both on the beach and in the surrounding area for those wishing to dine. It also has all the necessary facilities for water sports and activities.
There are several ways to reach the beach. By car, you can take the provincial road Spetses – Monastery of Agioi Anargyroi, reaching the beach in about 5 minutes. The second option is by bus, which runs daily from Agios Mamas Beach, 300 meters to the left of the port, heading towards Agia Marina and ending at Agioi Anargyroi. The other two options are by sea. You can take the traditional caiques that run daily trips to the beach or a water taxi, which operates throughout the day to any point on the island by arrangement. Both the caiques and the water taxis depart from the Dapia Port.
