Antimahia is built in the center of the island. It is 23km from the town. It is a beautiful village with long history. It is of great tourist interest as very close to it is the homonym venetian castle. The castle’s walls are saved in a good condition, while in its interior are saved two old churches, that of Saint Paraskevi and of Saint Nikolaos.
Antimahias’ residents distinguish for their faith to traditional mores. When visiting the folkloric museum of the village, roofed under a house in Antimahia, you will get information for the culture and the way that people used to live.
