A coastal settlement, 10km southwest of Chora. It is built around a cove and has a beautiful beach.
Koutalas flourished in the beginnings of the century, due to the mines in the region. There’s a bridge, that was used to load minerals.
In the hill of Koutalas you will see the remains of “Kastro of grias”. While in the west of the settlement you can see the unexplored cave of Cyclopes, with many stalagmites and stalactites in its interior.
Swim in the settlement’s beach and in the close beaches Gianema and Vagia.
