
Holy Monastery of the Annunciation (Evangelismos)
Located southwest of Chora, the Holy Monastery of the Annunciation was founded in 1613 by the hieromonk Nikiforos from the Great Monastery. The complex consists of the Church of the Annunciation and a three-story defensive tower, within which are the chapels of Saint Luke and Saint Anthony.
Holy Monastery of the Life-Giving Spring (Zoodochos Pigi)
Located southwest of the Great Monastery, the Holy Monastery of the Life-Giving Spring was founded in 1607 by the Patmian hieromonk Parthenios Pangkostas. It is a characteristic example of traditional island architecture, while its courtyard, adorned with flower-filled garden beds, is particularly impressive.
