Located in a quiet position just half a mile from the center of Agios Nikolaos, the hotel is situated right on the sea, with good swimming from rocky inlets as well as from a couple of small inviting sandy beaches. We chose carefully the magical area of Agios Nikolaos, in the Eastern part of Crete, to create this tranquil paradise. Despite its peaceful location the Minos Beach is only ten minutes walk from the center of town and one hour's drive from the town and airport of Heraklion. So you can be sure that your stay at Minos Beach will be an excellent opportunity to visit the sights in the surrounding area. ACCOMODATION At Minos Beach we have taken into account every little detail in order to anticipate your every need and make your stay truly unforgettable. You have at your disposal fully equipped rooms and bungalows suites. Every room leads onto a spacious balcony where you can relax and enjoy the delightful surroundings. The Minos Beach resort consists of 10 rooms, 2 suites and 120 bungalows, some of which enjoy views of the gardens filled with colourful bougainvillea, geraniums and hibiscus, whilst others have sea views. There are different categories of accommodation, such as VIP Bungalows Waterfront (that is, situated directly by the seawater's edge offering direct access to the sea) or VIP Bungalows Seafront (that is, situated on the first row from the water's edge), Hotels Suites Sea view (that is, situated in the main building), Bungalows Waterfront or Seafront (same situation as above) or Bungalows Suites (that is situated on the second row from the water's edge). Top quality equipment and facilities are offered to all our guests. All bungalows and rooms enjoy the same facilities, including individual air-conditioning and heating, direct-dial telephone, satellite TV, a mini-bar, hair-dryer, private bathroom and balcony or terrace. For a truly VIP experience at the Minos Beach you will also find selected rooms (VIP Bungalows Waterfront) that are literally 'touching' the sea and are also equipped with jacuzzi bathtub, mini Hi-Fi CD system and personal fax (some of the above also available for the other bungalows upon request).
