Polygyros

Polygyros is the capital and administrative center of Chalkidiki. It is located inland on the slopes of Mount Cholomon and serves as an important hub for the wider region.

The town has active year-round life, with services, shops, schools, and public infrastructure. It is not coastal, but it is relatively close to the beaches of Kassandra, Sithonia, and Mount Athos.

Polygyros is known for its natural surroundings, cool climate, and traditional inland atmosphere, making it an ideal base for exploring all of Chalkidiki.
