Agios Ioannis

Agios Ioannis is an area in central Corfu, close to Corfu Town in the Ionian Islands. It is best known for its large flat landscape, extensive olive groves, and the presence of the Corfu Golf Club, which is one of the main landmarks of the area.

Agios Ioannis has a mostly suburban and rural character, with residential neighborhoods, small businesses, and tourist facilities. Although it is not located on the coast, it is close to several beaches on both the northern and eastern sides of Corfu, as well as to Corfu Town and the island's airport.

Today, Agios Ioannis functions as a mixed residential and tourist area, offering a quiet environment with convenient access to key locations across the island.
