Pelops

Hotel Pelops was one of the first hotels to open its doors in Ancient Olympia to visitors over 40 years ago. Completion of massive renovations finished in the year 2004 and besides the simulation of the old and new, our proud hospitality still remains.

Hotel Pelops is a family run neo-classical hotel in Ancient Olympia, offering 18 fully equipped comfortable rooms, all with balconies overlooking the everyday life of a village in a green valley. It is situated off the main roads, in the peaceful corner of the village beside the Orthodox church. We are 800 meters from the Archaeological site and museums, a 15 minute walk, or 3 minute drive.

Our large lounge and fireplace, or courtyard is the place for an ouzo or a coffee. The dining room provides a perfect setting for buffet breakfast, or meals on request, full of recipes from the past.

Courses in cooking, creative writing, painting and drawing are available for those who have the desire to experience an authentic, hands-on facet of Greek life and living.
