Alimos

Alimos is a coastal municipality in the southern suburbs of Athens, known for its organized waterfront and proximity to the city center. It is one of the most popular areas of the Athens Riviera, with easy access via major roads and public transport.

The area features a long sandy beach, marinas, sports facilities, and numerous seaside cafés and restaurants. During the summer it becomes very lively with beachgoers and water activities, while throughout the year it functions as an active urban coastal zone for residents and visitors.

Alimos combines modern urban development with a seaside character, making it a popular destination for quick escapes from central Athens. Despite its growth, it still retains a relaxed Riviera feel with views over the Saronic Gulf.
