Ranked among the ten best beaches in Europe, Falassarna is located 52 km west of Chania. Renowned for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and fine sand, it offers a spacious and uncrowded setting. The area includes five beaches, with the two central ones being the busiest. Pahia Ammos is by far the most popular: a long stretch of sand with free areas for those bringing their own umbrella, as well as organized zones with sun loungers, umbrellas, and cabanas. Situated at the westernmost point of the island, the beach offers spectacular sunsets, perfect for capturing amazing photos. You’ll also find snack bars, restaurants, restrooms, water sports, and lifeguards to ensure a safe and enjoyable swim.
