Next comes Lyrarakis Winery, surrounded by vineyards that hold stories older than the island’s roads. A guided tour through the vines and cellar leads to a tasting of five wines, each carrying the character of its ancient grape varieties. The experience closes in Peza Village with a traditional Cretan lunch at Peteinos Alaniaris—honest dishes, generous flavors, and the kind of hospitality that lingers.
