- Monastery dress code: Shoulders and knees must be covered. Women are required to wear skirts below the knee rather than trousers. Men must wear long trousers and shirts covering their shoulders.
- Photography is generally prohibited inside monastery churches but permitted in designated outdoor areas
- Comfortable, non-slip walking shoes, hats, and sun protection are strongly recommended.
- The Monastery of Agios Stefanos is closed on Mondays. An alternative monastery, such as Rousanou, will be visited depending on opening hours and accessibility.
