Meteora One Day Trip From Ioannina

The tour starts with pick up from your hotel or apartment. After your pick up we depart from the city of Ioannina towards Kalambaka

Our tour leader will be with you to give you all the information you need about the area, share with you a vast amount of knowledge and he will help you to visualize why and how the first monks managed to establish one of the biggest monastic community in Greece on top of these unique rocks. We see all 6 monasteries and visit 3 of them inside (on the sunset tour we only visit 2 monasteries) Also with plenty of stops to the best viewpoints and with short walks, he will explain to you all the geological phenomena that had to occur so these impressive rocks could form. The panoramic views will offer you a once-in-a-lifetime experience and will give you the chance of shooting the most impressive photos to share with your friends.

After the organised tour ends, you will have 1 hour free time in the city of Kalambaka or Kastraki to explore or have lunch on your own (not included in the price) before we return back to Ioannina

Upon return to Ioannina you will be dropped off at the same location you were picked up from
