During this experience, travelers are welcomed to a family-run organic farm in the Kefalonian countryside, where the day unfolds at a relaxed pace. You’ll begin with a guided walk through the property, exploring fragrant orchards, colorful flower gardens, and the historic farm grounds while learning about local agriculture and traditions. You’ll then enjoy live culinary demonstrations as the chef prepares traditional Kefalonian specialties such as mandola and pasteli, sharing the stories and techniques behind each recipe. Tastings include the chef’s signature orange pie, seasonal fruit jams, spoon sweets, herbal liqueurs, cookies, almond treats, and brachakia. Between tastings, there is time to relax in the gardens, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful island setting. Before departing, you may browse the farm shop for handmade local products like jams, mandola, pasteli, olive oil, and traditional sweets—perfect souvenirs to take home. Transportation to and from the farm is included for a smooth, stress-free experience.
