Heraklion Archaeological Museum
The day begins with a visit to the legendary Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, featuring the most extensive Minoan collection worldwide. Ten halls showcase rare exhibits such as golden jewelry, exquisite ceramics, unique vessels and containers, and, of course, the Minoan frescoes, those unique creations that express a pandemonium of color, movement and symbolize a tribute to life itself, are only of the few elements that make up for the oldest frescoes ever found in Europe.
