Step into the world of Greek herbal wisdom with a multi-sensory tea tasting experience in Corfu Old Town. Hosted in our cozy little shop filled with a rich selection of herbs, infusions, teapots, mugs, and home treasures, this experience invites you to explore the art of herbal tasting in a space full of charm and authenticity. During the tasting, you will sample six different herbal infusions among Nettle, Greek Mountain Tea (Sideritis), Mint, Louiza, Melissa, Sage etc, made from carefully selected single herbs and blends, each with their own distinct flavor and therapeutic properties. Each infussion will be paired with thoughtfully chosen accompaniments such as dried fruits (like apricots, peaches, prunes etc), roasted nuts (walnuts, almonds etc), and handmade local biscuits to enhance the taste and aftertaste of the herbs. You’ll be encouraged to smell, touch, observe, and of course taste the herbs, learning to appreciate the subtle differences in aroma, texture, and depth of flavor. You will also get a brief yet insightful introduction to the traditional and medicinal use of these herbs in Greek culture.
