You will arrive by bus in the beautiful coastal village of Damnoni, where our escort will meet you and assist with purchasing your boat tickets for the next part of your journey. From there, you'll board a boat that will take you along the stunning southern coastline of Crete to the famous Preveli Palm Forest — one of the island’s most iconic natural attractions. This unique beach features a rare palm grove, the Kourtaliotis River flowing through a dramatic gorge, and a scenic shoreline where the river meets the Libyan Sea. Once at Preveli, you’ll have free time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Swim in the crystal-clear sea or the refreshing river lagoon, walk beneath the shade of the palm trees, or hike along the river’s edge. The surrounding cliffs offer spectacular viewpoints for photography or quiet moments of reflection. After your visit to the beautiful Preveli Beach and Palm Forest, you will board the boat once again for a relaxing return journey along the stunning coastline back to Damnoni. As you sail across the clear blue waters, take a final moment to enjoy the views of the rugged cliffs and untouched landscape that make this part of Crete so special. Upon arriving in Damnoni, you will rejoin your bus for the short and scenic drive to the charming seaside village of Plakias.
