Our next stop is going to be just across "the island of Gramvousa" for two more hours. Gramvousa is famous for its historical Venetian fortress, which still stands at a height of 137m over the beach. The fort had also been used by pirates, and one legend says that a great treasure is buried on the island. The view from there is stunning. If you are planning to admire the 360° panoramic view, it is a good idea to bring a pair of sneakers with you, as there is only a trail leading to the top.
