For this day, we strongly recommend that you explore this beautiful region, starting with a short hike of about two hours, which will allow you to discover an exceptional part of the south coast of the island, by going around the Plakias peninsula while overlooking to the Libyan Sea.

Olive groves, rock formations, cliffs and fantastic views are waiting for you on this flexible day, where swimming can take place wherever you like, on beautiful beaches with very few people, as you walk along on the side. Time to stretch your body and enjoy swimming at the splendid crystal clear deep blue waters of South Crete! What is best than enjoying an isolated beach all by yourself?

Of course, lunch is planned in a small tavern with the most gorgeous sea view in the region, in order to enjoy a genuine meal just like the Cretans do. Fresh fish on the grill with refreshing dry wine, made by local grape varieties, and the waves under your feet... it doesn't get more relaxing than this. We continue our hike towards the north coastline and back, walking on an impressive and strange rocky terrain embroidered by the saltiness and north wind! Then we will cross the mountains back to your accommodation at the end of the afternoon when the sun will be going down gradually and we admire the beautiful and unique Mediterranean sunset.
