Meteora
Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a must-see in Greece. This stunning geological phenomenon, formed around 60 million years ago, became home to monks from the 12th century, who built monasteries atop the towering rock pillars. Each monastery boasts impressive frescoes, icons, and a wealth of ecclesiastical treasures. Our guide will take you through two of the most important and well-preserved monasteries.
