Travelers
Only one day in Athens from your cruise ship, or half a day free in the city? This private tour shows you the best of Athens in about four hours, with no strangers, no fixed bus schedule and no stress about the clock. Your English-speaking driver meets you at the Piraeus cruise port, your hotel or your apartment in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with Wi-Fi and bottled water. Walk up to the Acropolis to see the Parthenon, the Erechtheion and the Temple of Athena Nike, then explore the Ancient Agora where Socrates once walked. See the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the marble Panathenaic Stadium of the first modern Olympics, watch the Evzones guards in front of Parliament, and wander the old lanes of Plaka. Your driver shares stories between stops and adapts to your pace, the heat and your ship's all-aboard time. Drivers can't enter archaeological sites, so add a licensed guide on request for expert commentary inside the Acropolis.
