Menu & tasting
You are going to cook authentic local and traditional Greek recipes with the valuable help of Irini, Vigla Hotel’s traditional cook and your local culinary host. During this class, you will discover the secrets of Greek home cooking by creating two Greek dishes or one traditional dessert, using fresh ingredients sourced mainly from our own orchards, including aubergines, potatoes, tomatoes, courgettes, olives, and, of course, extra virgin olive oil from our olive groves. With years of experience in traditional home cooking, Irini will guide you through authentic Greek cooking techniques that you can easily recreate at home. Together, you will create beloved Greek classics such as “gemista” (stuffed tomatoes and peppers), one of the most popular dishes in Greek households, along with other traditional recipes passed down through generations. Last but not least, you will enjoy tasting your creations on our terrace while taking in the panoramic views of Aegiali Bay.
