Next, we visit Nisyros, a small island shaped by volcanic eruptions that began about 160,000 years ago. Its center features an impressive 4 km-wide caldera, one of the largest in Europe. Inside lies a crater where you can walk down and see bright yellow sulfur crystals formed by steaming vents — a truly unique experience. After the volcano visit, enjoy one hour of free time in Mandraki, the island’s charming harbor village.
