Day 1

   Kera Kardiotissa Monastery

   Monastery of Kera Kardiotissa. This quiet monastery is cared for by local nuns. Inside, you can see old frescoes from the 14th century and a famous icon of the Virgin Mary, which many people believe is miraculous.

   Psychro

   Visit a traditional pottery workshop. Here, you will see how Cretan ceramics are made by hand, using techniques passed down through generations.

   Tzermiado

   The village of Tzermiado, where our rooms are located. You can leave your bags and get comfortable before the afternoon activity.

4. 4

   Lassithi Plateau

   This activity is optional. A local guide will take you on a 3-hour bike tour of the Lasithi Plateau countryside. You will explore small villages, meet local farmers, and try fresh fruits and vegetables directly from the fields. If you are lucky, someone may offer you a small glass of raki — the traditional Cretan drink.

Day 2

1. 5

   Tzermiado

   After the breakfast you can enjoy the rest of the day. You can relax or talk with the local guide to plan an extra activity — such as a short walk in nature or another light outdoor experience. The land around the plateau is flat and easy to explore. In the early afternoon around 5 p.m. we begin the return journey. After almost two days in the Cretan countryside, you leave with new memories and a real taste of life in Crete.
