Our day starts from Litochoro where we meet and heading together to Prionia, where is the starting point. Prionia is the highest point accessible by car. Prionia is at an altitude 1,100m where there is a parking lot. It is a 6km route approximately 4-5 hours with the stops and is the most widely used hiking trail on Mount Olympus. The biggest part of this hike goes through thick forests of pine, beech and fir trees, and is in good condition. The finishing point for our first day is Spilios Agapitos Refuge, where we will stay for the night inside the refuge or outside in tents. The refuge is fully equiped with bathroom, kitchen and power supply. From there we can enjoy the Aegean sea and the beautiful colors during sunset. Duration: 4 hours
