Orkos is the area between Plaka and Mikri Vigla on the west coast of Naxos, about 18km from Naxos Town along the main road, and about 9km from Naxos Town along the sandy road through the farmers fields. Located in walking distance between Plaka and Mikri Vigla, where you can find the supermarket, surf school and local taverns.
ORKOS VILLAGE is situated on the slope, about 100m from the sea and the beaches, composed of bungalows with 28 open-plan studios built in the traditional Cycladic white style, and connected with stairs and walls in natural stones. Orkos Village gives you the feeling of living in a Greek village, and not in the standard hotel you find wherever you are.
Orkos was built in 1989 and extended in 1995. All our studios have balconies with a unique view to the blue sea and the sunset.
In the center of the complex you will find the outside-inside tavern and bar, and different terraces and corners where you can enjoy your meals and your drinks accompanied by the unique view. Next to the roof-terrace you find the combined restaurant/all activity room/conference room.
