Temple of Poseidon
This tour will reveal things that most visitors do not expect. That is, the southern coastline of Attica, the famous Athens Riviera, definitely one of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe. At a distance of only 65km from Athens center, lies one of the most impressive sites of the Attica region: the Temple of Poseidon: built during 444–440 BC, this temple is one of the major monuments of the Golden Age of Athens. It is perched on the headland at a height of almost 60 meters, surrounded by the sea, creating a magical landscape. It is highly recommended to take this tour in the afternoon in order to experience a breathtaking sunset.
