Starting from Athens and driving by the coastal Poseidon Avenue for about 70 km all by the sea, we will be crossing the south suburbs of Athens, which makes this journey one of the best around the prefecture of Attica. The Temple of Poseidon is a temple dedicated to God Poseidon, the God of the sea, standing for 2.500 years right on the edge of the clifs of Cape Sounio, the southern most tip of the peninsula of Attica. Up on the rock where the temple of Poseidon is located, you will enjoy a great open view of the Aegean Sea and probably the best sunset of your life.
