Private Tour: Kos Island Villages And Wine Tasting

Our first stop is the lovely little mountain village of Zia. A beautiful panoramic view of Kos Island waits for you & your camera! Zia, is fast becoming a center for local artists & craftspeople, as well as a great place to introduce yourself to the diverse local dried herbs used in traditional Greek cooking.

Second stop the Vineyard. Built on some of Kos’ most fertile land, this family run Vineyard boasts some of the finest local and international varieties of red & green grapes. Take a taste test!

On to the ancient village of Pyli; take a step back in time in this traditional little village with its’ beautiful flower gardens.

As we head back towards the Port of Kos, we drive through Kardamena & make a stop in the village of Antimacheia to visit the ancestral house and the antique windmill.

Back in Kos town, we make one last stop to the Plane (Platanos) tree of Hippocrates near the ancient Castle Fortress on the harbour. It is said that 2500yrs ago Hippocrates, the father of medicine taught his students under that very tree.
