Founded in 1982 by local winemakers from Omala and surrounding villages, the cooperative was created to protect and promote the exceptional potential of Kefalonia’s vineyards. Today, Orealios Gaea is one of Greece’s newest and most dynamic viticultural cooperatives, with 300 members and responsible for receiving 80% of Robola grapes from the Designation of Origin zone.
