The highest spot of the island (567 meters), located between Pyrgos and Kamari. The mountain took its name from the monastery of Profitis Ilias (Prophet Elijah) that is built right on its peak. In the village you can shop or walk around to discover the typical architecture of Santorini with its characteristic white houses dug into the volcanic soil.
