   Great Meteoron Monastery

   Our driver will pick you up from your hotel at 09:00 to begin the exploration of the impressive Byzantine Monasteries of Meteora, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage monument. Our first stop is at The Holy Monastery of Great Meteoro, the largest and oldest monastery. Perched atop a gigantic rock, it gives the impression of being "suspended in the air" (meteoro). Next, we'll visit the charming Monastery of St. Stephan, a small church adorned in 1545. Our enriching tour concludes at the picturesque village of Kalambaka, where you'll savor a traditional Greek lunch.
