Σε απόσταση 30 περίπου χλμ. από το Ρέθυμνο συναντάμε το πολυσύχναστο Μπαλί. Είναι ένα από τα διασημότερα τουριστικά θέρετρα του νομού. Στην περιοχή λειτουργούν πολλά ξενοδοχεία και ενοικιαζόμενα δωμάτια.
Χαρακτηριστικό είναι τα πολλά μικρά λιμανάκια που σχηματίζονται γύρω από τον ομώνυμο όρμο, και προσφέρουν την αίσθηση της ιδιωτικής πλαζ. Οι αμμουδιές αυτές είναι οργανωμένες.
